Jane Davidson
Founder, Director Brand Development & Communications Strategy

Picture
Jane started working on the concept for New Music Empire in the Summer of 2012 after starting the Luckman World Arts Sidestage at Levitt Pavilion Pasadena which inspired her to do more booking and event production with the young artists she had discovered through that project and the Open Mic Nights she hosted around town. She figured the best way to learn would be to work for the experts, so she took internships in A&R at Warner Bros. Records, WME agency, and Artist Nation management and learned all she could from the best in the business. She also worked at USC and Levitt Pavilion doing event production.

During this time she was also a full time student and began putting on productions independently, working with new artists, and booking non-traditional shows. While these opportunities were amazing, she kept feeling the need to organize and legitimize her services as well as calling upon her peers at USC, Levitt, and beyond to contribute their skill sets to the cause of launching new artists.

As she continues to grow the Empire, Jane remains personally involved in the careers of every artist the company works with. Upon graduating from USC, she was recognized as the Outstanding Graduate in the Music Industry department. She plans to continue with New Music Empire while building a larger Brand Development consulting firm, BEGIN, which launches mid-March.
